The slots in the sides allow the tail to produce some great action. There are many colors to choose from Go with your favorite and see how they work for you. 
We do trim them down some to change the design and we do catch more fish with our trimming. 
Use them with our short shank jig heads (Joe Jigs) or with weedless jigs - Try our Edje Weedless Jigs 
You will not need any other bait.
